The Concrete Sofa Art Trail, also known as the 'Take Your Seat Project', is a collection of nine funky concrete sofas found throughout the Peel and South West, including:

  1. PINJARRA - Cantell Park.
  2. DWELLINGUP - Marrinup Park.
  3. WAROONA - Main Street on South Western Highway.
  4. YARLOOP - Old Tree Park, Railway Parade and School Road.
  5. HARVEY - Uduc Road by the IGA supermarket car park.
  6. BUNBURY - Guppy Park, Victoria Street.
  7. MANDURAH - Mandurah Arts & Crafts Centre. Corner Gibson & Sutton Street.
  8. ROCKINGHAM - Behind the Station Youth Centre, Corner Baralda & Hefron Streets.
  9. KWINANA - Outside Kwinana Community Arts Centre, Sulphur Road.

Each sofa weighs a massive 2.4 tonnes and was funded by Alcoa and the Fremantle Arts Centre.

Completed in 2000, Harvey's concrete sofa was painted by Artist Anthea Ward, working with schools, individuals and groups of the area, creating a series of postage stamps that celebrate the flowers, animals, people, pets, homes and businesses of the area.

Yarloop's concrete sofa sits within the beautiful One Tree Park, under the shade of a huge Morton Bay Fig tree.
