Description
The St Peters Anglican Church is a charming church located on the main street of Brunswick's townsite. Its Foundation Stone was laid by K. M. Eastman Esq., W.M. of the Lodge of Freemasons of St Matthews in 1907.
Brother SA Easthaugh, treasurer for the Lodge, placed a time capsule containing newspapers of the time, a coin of the realm and a parchment commemorating the event, in the cavity beneath the stone.
Wander around the church grounds to examine the exterior of the church and the craftsmanship of its builders.
The Anglican Parish of Brunswick Burekup serves the communities of Brunswick and Burekup. Service times are Sunday at 9.00 am in Brunswick, on the first and third Sundays.
