Running from 11-13 September 2026, Harvey Region Heritage Festival will bring our heritage to life through intimate, immersive experiences, unique heritage events and family-friendly activities across the region.

As part of the Harvey Region Heritage Festival, the Australind Makers & Collectors Market brings together local craftsmanship, vintage treasures and pieces with a story to tell.
Browse a curated selection of handmade goods from local makers, alongside vintage finds and unique antiques from the Southern WA Collectors Club. Take your time, explore the stalls and perhaps uncover something you didn’t know you were looking for.
The market will also feature a selection of heritage-inspired experiences throughout The Village Markets precinct, including a local history display from Australind Library and vintage bicycles offering a glimpse into the past.
Whether you’re a collector, a lover of handmade pieces, a history enthusiast or simply enjoy discovering something a little different, there’s plenty to explore.

🏃♀️🌿 Run, walk & discover Australind’s heritage!
As part of the Harvey Region Heritage Festival, join the Ridley Place Foreshore parkrun on Saturday 12 September for a fun, FREE 5km community event along the beautiful Leschenault Estuary.
Before you set off, learn a little more about Australind’s past with a talk about the Australind Heritage Trail, then choose your own pace... walk, jog or run! The course takes in several historic points along the trail, making this more than just your average Saturday morning parkrun.
Whether you`re a regular park runner, first-timer, volunteer or simply there to cheer everyone on, everyone is welcome.

What a great day it was, connecting Harvey Region businesses for We Are Social 2026 - a free workshop designed to help local businesses feel more confident, creative and strategic when it comes to social media.
A big thank you to @lukewhelan , Managing director and co-founder of @perthisok , @joel.m.cook , Social Specialist at @socialmeteoragency , and Andre & Abbey from @brookhamptonroadfarm for sharing your knowledge, practical tips and real-world insights.
From creating content that gets noticed to growing an audience and turning social media into meaningful business results, there was plenty of inspiration and plenty of ideas to take away and put into action.
