Description
The township of Binningup is located along the Forrest Highway and has over 1000 residents and is a popular fishing & holiday destination, on your way into town take a look at the beautiful Mosaic Entrance Statement.
Binningup Beach is sheltered and calm thanks to the reef running parallel to the shore, great for those who wish to snorkel. The fish are easy to catch and the white sands stretch for miles and miles, perfect for those long romantic walks under breath-taking sunsets.
With an awesome pirate playground right by the beach, and a general store with a selection of lunches, Binningup Beach is a great place to bring the whole family for some fun in the sun.
Binningup is also a great place to try your hand at beach fishing, the following fish are found: Tailor, Sand and Yellowfin whiting, Herring, Flathead and Flounder. Silver bream can be caught all year round and the odd Mulloway is not uncommon. Fishing is also excellent in a boat, fishing for Dhufish, Baldchin groper, Skippy, Pink Snapper, Nanagai and the occasional large King George whiting.
